HOW IT WORKS:
STEP 1: AIR INGESTION WITH POWERFUL BUT QUIET AIR INTAKE
Room air is actively ingested into the disinfection fixture with single or dual intake devices; using custom-designed fan blades for powerful, quiet performance.
Depending on room design, complete room air changes are processed in minutes.
STEP 2: INITIAL AIR FILTRATION AND OXIDATION
Once air is ingested, it first passes through a ceramic mesh of titanium dioxide, embedded with TiO2 nanoparticles. Irradiated with intense UVA 365 energy, a cloud of highly reactive electrons and subsequent reactive oxygen species is formed. The UVA irradiance is also destructive, so multiple modes of disinfection and filtration begin immediately.
STEP 3: CONTINUOUS OXIDATION ALONG CORRIDOR PATHWAYS
After air passes through the TiO2 mesh and is irradiated with UVA energy, it enters a pathway of corridors that are coated with Titanium nanoparticles. Ingested air travels for twenty feet along these “photocatalytic reactors”, which are energized by powerful UVC irradiation at 265 nm.
STEP 4: UVC 265 EXPOSURE ALONG CORRIDOR PATHWAYS
As ingested air travels pathway corridors, it is exposed to intense UVC irradiant energy, up to 30 J/cm2. The disinfection fixture’s destructive UVC energy, bathing air continuously for almost 20 linear feet, has been laboratory tested and proven to kill most pathogens and destroy most molecular structures within seconds.
STEP 5: MICRON-CHARCOAL FILTRATION
The disinfection fixture uses both charcoal and micron filtration, which is used as a safety step to eliminate any unwanted molecular or volatile organic byproducts, should they remain after passing through the active pathway corridors.
STEP 6: DYNAMIC VENTING AND DISPLACEMENT INTO SAFE ZONES
After the air is processed, it is vented from the disinfection fixture from multiple exits. Continuous air displacement into the lower third of the room helps create clean, safe zones of air in what has been termed the “breathing strata”. Recent research has revealed that the airborne transmission pathway is so significant that airflow dynamics, sometimes termed “ventilation” is becoming increasing regarded as a key aspect of safety and protection.
